In June-July 2007, I traveled to Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala located in the Western Highlands where I conducted maternal health care research. I traveled to Guatemala on a photography grant given to me by the Dean of the College at Penn. I was fascinated by the rich colors, textures, and culture of the people. Here are a few snapshots of my experiences.
